The mid-cut design, structured with a bellows tongue and a D-ring for gaiter attachment, protects ankles from snow and debris.
Support on the ground relies on several technical elements: the Merrell Air Cushion in the heel absorbs impact, the lightweight EVA foam midsole reduces muscle fatigue, and the nylon arch shank stabilizes the foot. The removable insole, treated with Cleansport NXT™ for odor control and covered in mesh fabric, pairs with 200 grams of lightweight synthetic insulation to ensure lasting warmth without reducing internal volume.
