The award-winning Pro Series Sock reinvented what a snow sock could look and feel like. A sock built with the technical information and direct feedback from the dermal track of one of the world's most respected big mountains has had cross-country skiers turning.
Crafted from our Signature Merino Blend, the sock ensures exceptional breathability, temperature regulation and comfort by fusing the luxuriously soft-on-skin properties of bamboo rayon and the unrivaled odor resistance of merino wool, this which means Cody can wear them for a week straight if he wants.
The Definitive Fit SystemTM and our Memory S extenso foot molding TM provide a precise form fit, combined with targeted padding in the toe box, vent panels for airflow on the bootpack and an anti-shock elbow. wrinkles, an instep that does not drink under the feet. Slightly thinner than previous iterations, innovative silicone bands on the heel and upper calf keep the sock locked in place, aided by a technically knitted achilles support band that dramatically minimizes heel lift while hiking , eliminating blisters and hot spots. We've redefined a backcountry sock in key technical areas:
1. Silicon ankle locks: strategically placed bonded silicone bands at the back of the ankle, eliminating foot slippage and avoiding the famous anxious chatter.
2. Siticone Cuff: Once we started playing with silicone, we immediately fell in love with it and took it a step further, adding a silicone ring to the upper cuff below the knee. Keeping the socks upright, without claiming the hairs, so you can break the track without your socks going saggy.
3. Cushioning: Packing more cushion into this high impact area, allowing for a more comfortable experience with added warmth to the toes.
4. Shin Compression Area: We combined the thought of an athletic compression sleeve and a sock into one. By adding light compression to the shin and calf areas, helping to manage lactic induced fatigue.
5. Mesh Ventilation: We've developed a new mesh ventilation zone to increase breathability across the top of the foot, allowing cushioning to stay where it's needed on the base and toe, while letting moisture out and steam from the top of the foot.
