The G440 hybrids appeal to a variety of skill levels, each designed to deliver different ball flight characteristics—from slightly biased 2-2 hybrids for off-the-thumb performance to draw-inducing 5-, 6- and 7-draw hybrids that help optimize scoring. They all share a new shallower, thinner face design, which improves face contact for more ball speed and higher-launching shots that hit and hold the green. A lower CG in the multi-material heads (stainless steel, steel and marring carbon) also contributes to ball speed gains for more distance. The thinner back weight allows for a more contoured sole design to ensure the club sits on the ground and the face angle remains consistent.
